Students at my classes in Biddenham have just held a very successful exhibition in St James Church Barn featuring houses and views from the Parish which will be featured on new notice boards to be erected next year. The boards will provide details of three new Biddenham Heritage Trails which are being launched by the Biddenham Society to commemorate their 100 year anniversary.
54 paintings were displayed and over 130 visitors attended the exhibition which as held on Saturday afternoon the 12th July. Visitors voted for their favourite pictures and the People’s Favourite was John Hardaker’s, St James Church. This was especially satisfying as John is relatively new to the classes and painting in general having been given the gift of a set of lessons by his wife for a Christmas present!
